Looks like you're already using Blogger software... that should be find for a beginning blog. Many people I know use Moveable Type, which has more features and flexibility than many other blog products. However you have to get into the technology quite a bit more than you would with Blogger. I use Blogger for some sites, Moveable Type for this one.
