« We'r'e only in it for the money! | Main | Shotgun Golf » Hunter Thompson quits the scene![]() Nothing here but silence... and this: I think sometimes I really never learned anything much since I was fifteen. I know I have but I haven't changed much. And maybe I'm either an example of integrity in a person or the dumbest person around. I haven't learned anything since I was fifteen. [Link]
From the New York Times' obituary: "It was hard to say sometimes whether he was being provocative for its own sake or if he was just being drunk and stoned and irresponsible," quipped Krassner, founder of the leftist publication The Realist and co-founder of the Youth International (YIPPIE) party. "But every editor that I know, myself included, was willing to accept a certain prima donna journalism in the demands he would make to cover a particular story," he said. "They were willing to risk all of his irresponsible behavior in order to share his talent with their readers." jon posted this at 12:20 AM |

i'm sorry, this isn't a "hate" post, but hunter took the coward's way out and for his kook wife to attribute it to some "triumph" is just stupid.
cowards commit suicide, not heroes.

Well, I guess that's one comment that won't be posted. So much for "free speech". Wonder if Hunter would approve of your cencorship.
