"WiFi as urban renewal"

WiFi has become an inherent part of municipal economic development and urban renewal efforts, according to David Strom, who acknowledges the Austin Wireless City Project: "...volunteers are getting organized and community-level projects are bringing techno-geeks together to build their own hot spots.
