Newsweek's sloppy editing

Rebecca MacKinnon reports how Newsweek screwed up her background information in an introduction to an interview with her about censorship in China. I don't think it's just Newsweek, though... I don't think I've ever given an interview or been close to a story that was handled with complete accuracy. Rebecca notes that "even if their reporters are hard-working, well-intentioned and trying their best, you can count on their editors to mangle the details and have no respect for interviewees - without whom they would have no stories."
