I wonder how many of these "unprecedented" events
the American public is going to take before they get
it about climate change. And what then? It's going
to be interesting to live in a society where climate change
and energy are the major everyday topics. "Nine-eleven."
We lost a couple of buildings then. This is an
entire city.

My bet is that it will take 3-4 of these types of events in the US before people understand the climate has reached a tipping point.
