Just back from a tour with Peter Case, he slammed two sets out of the park, his sound falling somewhere between Tom Waits and X, and I found myself thinking about the Velvet Underground in there, too. But he sounded most like Jon Dee Graham, and that's even better. I was inspired to buy a copy of his latest cd, Full, right there at the Saxon.
