I was a James Brown fan starting 'round 1966. I'd heard his music before then, but it was "It's a Man's Man's Man's World" that got under my skin. I bought the album, a King record with a wild cover, and played it 'til it wore out. I've been listening to him ever since, Check out his discography at Allmusic – this was one hard workin' man.
