« Yeasayer | Main | Social DNA at 23andme: who owns your genome? » March 27, 2008"I want a river of news..."Jeff Jarvis (via Twitter and his blog) turned me on to the existence of "feed wars" - in the world of constantly updated news feeds, Facebook is losing (because it's too slow) and Twitter is winning (because it can be, at least via IM, so immediate). Another question buried here: to what extent do people want "a river of news," as Jeff says, and to what extent would they prefer a well-filtered trickle. I like the river, myself, but I'd like to see research - I think people like Jeff and I who can surf big waves of information may not be the norm.
