Austin Wireless Group

The Austin Wireless Group (AWG) should have been included the "Community Networking" section of the report. AWG was formed in August, 2001 to experiment with the WLAN protocol IEEE 802.11x. The intention was to in create an alternate wireless network for Austin. The organization meets monthly and has an active email list. It merged recently with Austin Wireless City to form the Texas nonprofit Austin Wireless, Inc. The AWG is an important nexus of the Austin wireless community.

Correction to Footnote #35

This footnote, in the section on "Specialist Mobile Solution Providers," should say “Reuters Business Insight - The Wireless Outlook: Deal with Decline. 2003. Datamonitor PLC.”
