ADC Joins WNCG Industrial Affiliates Program

Minneapolis & Austin, Texas - July 12, 2004 - The Wireless Networking and Communications Group (WNCG) at the University of Texas at Austin (UT) and ADC (NASDAQ: ADCT; www.adc.com), announced today that ADC has joined WNCG as an Industrial Affiliate sponsor. ADC, founded in 1935, is a leading provider of wireless network infrastructure equipment with world headquarters in Eden Prairie, Minn. WNCG, a leading academic research center at the University of Texas, involves more than 12 engineering professors and 70 graduate and undergraduate students who are pursuing cutting edge research in next generation wireless technologies for both licensed and unlicensed services.

ADC joins a list of preeminent wireless companies that have committed multi-year funding for WNCG research and teaching initiatives.
